The Sherwood Inn of Skaneateles, NY, will host its 14th Annual Seafood Jazzfest on Sunday, September 11th. The festivities kick off at noon on the West Lawn of the Sherwood Inn, located on the north shore of Skaneateles Lake on Route 20/E. Genesee Street. Seafood Jazzfest will feature a terrific lineup of regional jazz talent, including: Joe Whiting Band, Loren Barrigar, Soda Ash Six, Bob Piorun & the Convertibles, Dave Hanlon “Cookbook”, and John Spillette and the Solvay High School Jazz Ensemble. Eric Cohen of WAER-Jazz 88 will host the festivities.
The music will be served up with plenty of delicious food and beverages by the Sherwood Inn, including Raw Bar, fresh barbeque, wine tastings by Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars and Standing Stone Vineyards, sodas and cold beer. A magician will also be performing for the crowd from 2:30 until 4:30 pm. All of this and no cover charge! Bring a chair and lounge by the lake while enjoying some great local fare and entertainment.
