The Sherwood Inn features seasonal menus rooted in Classic American fare. Sherwood Classic items such as the Yankee Pot Roast and Baked Scrod Christopher are available year round, while our chefs change other seasonal entree selections based on the market availability of the freshest seafood, finest steaks and chops, and freshest locally grown produce. The menu often showcases several food and beverage options which are produced in New York State. A wide selection of Finger Lakes wine appear on our Wine Spectator Magazine award winning wine list.
Morning Continental
Morning Continental is served every morning from 7:00 a.m. through 9:30 a.m. with seating available on our Lakeview Porch. For guests of the hotel Morning Continental is complimentary with your stay.
Lunch
Lunch at the Inn is served daily from 11:30 a.m. in the Tavern and on our Lakeview Porch during the warmer months. Our lunch menu features a selection of sandwiches and light entrees, our Sherwood Classic entrees, our Chef's soups of the day, unique seasonal salads, appetizers, and of course desserts from our Patisserie.
Dinner
The Inn serves dinner each evening beginning at 5 p.m. in our Tavern and in our dining rooms. Nightly Seafood and Chop features are carefully created by our culinary staff. Our dinner menu features a wide selection of market fresh seafood from the Boston fish piers and fine steaks and chops. Our Sherwood Classic entrees are always available and Seasonal Selections on our dinner menu will change frequently throughout the year in an effort to bring you the finest and freshest tastes that each season has to offer. If you are looking for something lighter our dinner menu includes our complete selection of salads and sandwiches. Sherwood Inn has a full bar located in the Tavern and an extensive wine list. Our wine list has received consistent recognition from Wine Spectator magazine with their Award of Excellence in restaurant wine lists.
Seafood Raw Bar
Available in our Tavern every Friday evening our Seafood Raw Bar features fresh shucked oysters and clams and jumbo shrimp cocktails. Foley's Fish in Boston provides us with the freshest and finest shellfish on the Boston market. All oysters and clams are prepared to order by our expert seafood shucker.

The Tavern: our Tavern is known for more informal dining and houses the Inn's full service bar. With views of both the village of Skaneateles and Skaneateles Lake, the room also takes on a comforting role with wood-burning fireplace in the winter months. Seating for lunch and dinner in the Tavern is granted on a first come-first served basis. No reservations are taken for tavern seating.
Lakeview Porch: Enjoy casual-elegant dining with the backdrop of Skaneateles Lake on our Lakeview Porch. Lunch is offered on a first come-first served basis. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m. and reservations are required for dinner.
Main Dining Room: Enjoy casual-elegant dining for dinner in our Main Dining Room. During cold weather months a wood-burning fireplace keeps things warm. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m. and reservations are required for dinner.
